Friends of Grammar – Wadhurst is delighted to invite you to a special breakfast event exploring how we can preserve and celebrate what makes us uniquely human in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.

Our guest speaker for the morning is David Bicknell (OM 2000), CEO and Co-Founder of Actuals - a company building AI systems to automate financial operations for businesses. David will present on the topic:

Irreplaceable Human Striving in the Age of AI

While AI will transform every industry and automate countless tasks, it cannot replicate the uniquely human qualities that drive real innovation and meaning; our restless curiosity to ask better questions, our deep capacity to care about others, and our boundless creativity to imagine what doesn't yet exist. The students who will thrive in this AI-saturated future won't be those who outsource their thinking to machines, but those who use AI as a tool to amplify their irreplaceable human drive to learn, grow, and create something genuinely their own.

We hope you will join us for an inspiring and insightful morning that promises lively conversation, fresh perspectives, and connection. A Wadhurst event not to be missed!

Registrations close Tuesday 9 September.
