2023 MGS Basketball Tour USA
Melbourne Grammar School is pleased to announce that the 2023 USA Basketball Tour is now up and running. Students will depart on the 9th of December and return at 8.00am on the 24th December. This tour will include visits to Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Anaheim. Students will compete against similar calibre high schools in the United States which have been carefully selected based on ability. Highlights include attendance at both College and NBA games, a NFL or NHL game and trips to Disneyland and Universal Studios. There will also be opportunities to participate in elite training sessions with professional athletes, and visit the distinguished Universities of Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA and San Diego.
We will be taking three teams, a 1st Squad as well as two Developmental Squads. All Basketball students in Years 9-12 are invited to attend.
The tour cost is $10,280, with a $500 deposit required by the 15th of April.
An information evening for interested students and parents will follow, with additional information provided, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.
